Guide Review - Little Yokohama

For anyone who's trying to make it to a show on Broadway, it can be a struggle to find a decent restaurant that isn't overflowing with tourists. The restaurant seats about a dozen people, but it was empty when we arrived. The fried calamari ($4.50) that we started with was the weakest part of the meal -- not bad, but nothing special. Noodle soups($6-$10.50) each offer a choice of noodles (udon/soba/hoso udon/seaweed) and the generous portions were served piping hot. The Curry Nan($8.50) variety was mildly spicy and the udon noodles were plump and delicious. Soba noodles complimented the flavorful broth and chicken in the Spicy Miso Special($8.50). Service was attentive and polite, and the total for two was $30 (including tip).
