Guide Review - The Diner's Deck: Manhattan Dining Discount Cards
Each card in the deck features the name of the restaurant, address, phone, cuisine, and meals included in the program. Prix-fixe menus and some brunches can't be combined with the discount, but if you see brunch listed on their card, you can use the discount on the a la carte brunch menu.
Currently offering decks for three neighborhoods, Midtown, the Lower East Side and Lower West Side, you can preview the included restaurants for each neighborhood on their website. The 2005 decks, which are available beginning in November 2004 are good until December 31, 2005. They even offer a card swap program, so if a restaurant closes, you can get a replacement card by returning the card with a SASE.
